Where can the unit be set up?
The best place is a level grassy area. All KidzPlay moonwalk rental inflatables must be anchored down. If you need to set up on concrete or asphalt please let us know prior to the event. Make sure there are no underground irrigation pipes and/or buried telephone lines close to the perimeter of the bounce site. Some stakes are 40" long! Please make sure the area is free of any waste/debris.
Do I need a power source?
All of the inflatable fun units require blowers, each blower requires its own dedicated circuit. Some of our larger units can require up to three blowers. The standard household outlet (110) will be fine for each blower. KidzPlay supplies an extension cord up to 100 feet for each blower. Please keep that in mind when thinking of placement of the inflatable unit. KidzPlay does have generators available for rent, see pricing for details. Water slides will need to be able to connect to your garden hose.
How much Space is required for set up?
This all depends on the unit you are renting. Our moonwalk inflatables range from 13' to 39' in length, so ask about the space required for the unit you are requesting. You can also find the size details on the inflatable on the products page.
Do you require a contract or waiver to be signed?
Yes and Yes! The inflatable unit will not be set up unless the contract/liability waiver is signed. We will also give you complete safety instructions for operation at the time of set up.
What are the travel/set up fees?
Travel set up fees only apply to sites outside the 15 mile radius of our location. Contact us for
these fees.
Are you insured?
Absolutely! We are fully insured and licensed. ALWAYS ENSURE THE COMPANY YOU ARE USING IS FULLY INSURED.
Can we use the bounce house in the rain?
Absolutely not. It is extremely dangerous to use any equiptment that requires electricity in the rain. The unit must be dropped (elec turned off) should a rain storm or heavy winds push through the area.
Do you secure your units?
This is a MUST! We either stake the units securily to the ground or use sandbags in each corner to secure them. Should winds in excess of 20 mph push through the area it is absolutely necessary to drop the unit (turn power off) until the bad weather passes.
